78000 Menschen maschierten 6 Tage und 7 nächte ohne Nahrung.
Die Soldaten wurden gefoltert,
lebendig begraben, im vorbeigehn die Kehlen aufgeschlitzt
mit einem hieb enthauptet.
Frauen vergewaltigt und die Bäuche aufgeschlitzt
sie wurden mit Kolben totgeprügelt
in der brütenden Hitze von Bataan.
11000 Menschen haben es nicht überlebt.
Angekommen im Erlößungskamp
eingezäunt wie Schweine und mit MGs bewacht
starben 16000 Menschen
durch Dehydration und Mangel an Essen
aber die meisten starben an Hoffnungslosigkeit
es war keine Rettung in sicht.
